In a biographical submission to Ballotpedia, Fry detailed her political philosophy:[1]

I chose to run for office to give voters a choice. I do not support the policies of our incumbent who was running unopposed until I entered the race. I seek to teach my children what it takes to run for office and why they would want to. I believe instructing the next generation to stand up for liberty is paramount.

In Office, I Would;

  • Defend the Right to Life for ALL
  • Support Constitutional Carry.
  • Support Restoration of Rights Upon Prison Release
  • Eliminate “Speed Cameras” and Other Intrusive Surveillance
  • Support School Choice, Will Protect IPI + Charters
  • Reject Vaccine Mandates, Support Informed Choice
  • End Cannabis Prohibition. Stop Filling Jails Senselessly
  • Support a Medical Marijuana Program
  • Reduce or Remove Fines for Civil Infractions
  • Support Shared Parenting for Fit and Willing Parents
  • Gradual Elimination of State Income Tax

I believe that most Iowans desire peace and freedom above all else. The way we ensure that we all are free to live as we wish, is to be tolerant and allow our neighbor to live as he or she wishes as well. I believe in the consistent life ethic and the non-aggression principle. Force, coercion, and violence are never acceptable means to personal or political goals.[2]

Fry released the following statement regarding her bid for office:[3]

I believe in self-ownership and personal responsibility. I believe in self-reliance and community outreach in times of need. I believe that only individuals know what's best for their lives. I believe parents know what's best for their children. I believe that the people should rule the government, and not the government ruling the people. And finally, I believe life is what you make it when the government isn't making it hard.

I am pro life and pro liberty.[2]
