Joe Lee was a judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Kentucky. He was appointed to the court in 1961. He left office in 2015.

Education

Judge Lee received his bachelor's degree in journalism in 1952 and his J.D. in 1955, both from the University of Kentucky.

Career

Lee was counsel to a Congressional Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was also a law clerk to U.S. District Judge H. Church Ford and a law clerk with the Kentucky Supreme Court.
