Joe Lee was a judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Kentucky. He was appointed to the court in 1961.[1] He left office in 2015.[2]

Education

Judge Lee received his bachelor's degree in journalism in 1952 and his J.D. in 1955, both from the University of Kentucky.[1]

Career

Lee was counsel to a Congressional Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives. He was also a law clerk to U.S. District Judge H. Church Ford and a law clerk with the Kentucky Supreme Court.[1]
