John Eyer
John Eyer was a magistrate judge for the Twelfth Judicial District Court in Kansas. He was appointed in 1999 and was retained on November 6, 2012.[1] Eyer passed away on May 7, 2013.[2]
Education
Eyer earned his undergraduate degree from Washburn University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.[3]
Career
Eyer was appointed to the Twelfth Judicial District in 1999. Before his appointment he engaged in private practice and also served as Washington County Attorney from 1980 to 1993.[3]
Elections
2012
Eyer stood for retention on November 6, 2012.[4] He was successful in his bid for retention, earning 75.6% of the vote with 1,771 yes votes.[1]
