John Miles was a 2014 candidate for the Twenty-Seventh Circuit Court, which presides over Obion and Weakley counties in Tennessee.[1]

Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 48.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Jeff Parham.
