John Pursel

John Pursel is a senior judge on the Vicinage 13 Superior Court in New Jersey.[1] He was nominated to the court in 1999 by former Governor Christine Todd Whitman.[2] Pursel retired in 2011, but was recalled from retirement for a two-year term, effective April 11, 2013.[3] He was continued on recall for another two-year term as a senior judge, effective April 11, 2015.[4]
Education
Pursel earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Rutgers University and his J.D. from the University of Maine Law School in 1970.[2]
