Johnnie E. Walls, Jr.
Johnnie E. Walls, Jr. was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial District (Place 2) in Mississippi. He joined the bench on January 3, 2011, after being elected in 2010.[1][2] Walls retired in February 2016.[3]
Walls was a Democratic member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing the 12th Senatorial District from 1993 to 2010.
Walls passed away on May 10, 2025.[4]
Education
Walls earned a B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from Jackson State University. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Mississippi. He was admitted to the bar in 1971.[1][5]
