Joseph Collins Smithdeal
Joseph Collins Smithdeal is a family court judge for the Eighth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on January 30, 2013.[2][3] He was re-elected in February 2019.[4]
Education
Smithdeal received his B.A. from The Citadel in 1989 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992.[5][6]
Career
Before his election to the court, Smithdeal practiced law with the firm of Ayers, Smithdeal & Bettis, PC in Greenwood, South Carolina for twenty years.[6]
