Joshua D. Novin is a judge on the Tax Court in New Jersey.[1] He was appointed by Governor Chris Christie in June 2014 and then confirmed by the New Jersey Senate. He was sworn in on August 25, 2014.[2][2] Novin was reappointed in 2021. New Jersey Tax Court judges who are reappointed after seven years have tenure until they reach the mandatory retirement age of 70.
Education
Novin earned his bachelor of arts degree from Boston University and received his juris doctor from Widener University School of Law.[3]
Career
Novin was an attorney in private practice until his appointment to the New Jersey Tax Court in 2014.[4]
