Function
The Georgia Senate described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The Committee on Judiciary Non-Civil has general jurisdiction over Georgia's criminal laws and procedure, drug enforcement, sentencing, parole and pardons. Any legislation that carries a possibility of criminal penalties can be referred to the committee, including criminal law related to juveniles.[1][2] | ” |
