Education
Cecile received her undergraduate degree from Siena College and her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.[1]
Career
Since 1993, Cecile has operated a private practice. During that time, she has served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Syracuse and Assistant Welfare Attorney the county's Department of Social Services.[1]

2012 election
Cecile defeated Patrick Kilmartin in the general election on November 6, winning 55.7% of the vote.[2] [3] Cecile ran on the Democratic and Working Family party tickets.[4]
