Kahlotus School District Reappointment of School Board Director Districts (November 2009)

The Kahlotus School District Reappointment of School Board Director Districts proposition was on the November 3, 2009 ballot ballot in Franklin County.

The measure was approved.[1]

  • Yes: 86 (74.78%)Approveda
  • No: 29 (25.22%)

This proposition dissolved the existing district boundaries and recreated new ones. There were four director districts and one at-large. The proposition changed that to three director districts and two directors-at-large.


The ballot read:

"The Board of Directors of the Kahlotus School District No. 056 adopted Resolution No. 08-02 calling for a proposition to authorize dissolution of existing school board director districts and reapportionment of said districts. This proposition would authorize the Kahlotus School District to dissolve the existing school board director districts comprised of four director districts and one director at-large, and reapportion the district into three director districts and two directors at-large.
