Kansas Property Titles, Amendment 5 (1974)

The Kansas Property Titles, Amendment 5, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Kansas on August 6, 1974, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Article 12, Section 3. The amendment proposed that the title to property owned by a religious corporation would be allowed to vest said title with elected trustees by such a corporation.[1]
