Williams ran for election to the Pierce County District Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Jeanette A. Lineberry.

Williams received a B.A. from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound.[2]
Career
Williams has served as a judge pro tem for the Pierce County District Court since 1996. He is also an arbitrator and mediator.[3]
