Kathleen Tighe Coriden was a judge for the Bartholomew County Superior Court in Indiana. She was appointed to this position from January 1, 2000, through December 31, 2002. She later returned to the court on January 1, 2009.[1] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014.[2] Coriden retired at the end of her term on December 31, 2019.[3]

Coriden ran for re-election to the Bartholomew County Superior Court.

Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 42.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Gregory E. Long and Jeffrey L. Logston.

General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2][4] 

Education

Coriden graduated from Mary Manse College in 1968 and received her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1971.[1]

Career

Prior to her appointment, Coriden was a staff attorney and executive director of Legal Services of Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson and Jennings Counties. She also worked as a part-time deputy prosecutor for 22 years and practiced law with her son and husband.[1]
