Harper received his undergraduate degree from University of Washington and his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound Law School.[1]

Career

Before serving on the Jefferson Superior Court, Harper had practiced law for 32 years. He served as attorney for Jefferson Transit Authority and was the City of Port Townsend attorney for 7 years.[1]

Washington held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. Candidates for district and superior court seats had to file for election by May 20, 2016. Primary elections were held on August 2, 2016, for six seats where more than two candidates filed for election. Incumbent Keith Harper ran unopposed in the Jefferson Superior Court nonpartisan general election for Position 1.[2]

2012

Harper advanced from the primary election after receiving 47.88% of the vote. He then defeated Peggy Ann Bierbaum, receiving 60.72% of the vote in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]
