Kenneth E. Johns, Jr. is a probate judge for the Oconee County Probate Court in Oconee County, South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court in 2010.[2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expired in 2018.[3]

Johns was elected to the Oconee County Probate Court. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary and defeated incumbent Sandra Burgess Orr in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4][5]

Education
Johns received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg in 1989.[2]
Career
Before his election to the court in November 2010, Johns worked as a funeral director and insurance agent. He also had a long history in public service, which began in 1991 when he became an elected member of the Walhalla City Council and served as mayor pro tempore. He was then elected mayor of Walhalla in 1995 and later was elected to the Oconee County Council in 2000 to represent District 2. From 2007 to December 2010, he again served as mayor pro tempore of the Walhalla City Council.[2]
