Kim Riley

Kim Riley is an associate judge of District 2B in Iowa. She was appointed to this position, effective October 7, 2000, with her current term expiring in 2018.[1]
Education
Riley received her undergraduate degree in 1985 from Sioux Falls College and her J.D. in 1988 from the University of South Dakota.[1]
Career
Riley began her legal career as a law clerk in South Dakota's Sixth Judicial Circuit. She then worked for the Iowa Department of Commerce (Banking Division), as an Assistant Carroll County Attorney (Child Support Recovery Division) and as a supervising attorney in the Marshalltown Public Defender's Office before joining the district court in 2000.[1]
2012 election
Riley was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 78.87% of the vote.[2][3]
