Education
Dowling received her Bachelors from the University of Denver. She received her J.D.from the University of Colorado School of Law.[1]
Career
Dowling has worked in private practice in Muncie, Indiana, since 1985. She served as prosecutor in l990, Master Commissioner for the late Judge A.J. Hall from 1997 to 1998, and Title IV-D Commissioner from 1998 to 2000.[1]
2012 election
Dowling ran against incumbent Alan Wilson in the 2012 election. The race was initially too close to call, but eventually went in Dowling's favor. Dowling received 51.7% of the vote.[2][3]
