Kyle Atkins is a judge of the Twenty-Sixth Circuit Court, which presides over Chester, Henderson, and Madison counties in Tennessee.[1] He was elected to the court on August 7, 2014, and began serving on September 1. His current term expires in 2022.[2]

Atkins ran for election to the Twenty-Sixth Circuit Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 57.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Edward Martindale.
General: He defeated Nathan Pride in the general election on August 7, 2014, receiving 64.6 percent of the vote. [1][2]

Education

Atkins received his undergraduate degree from Lambuth University and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.[3][4]

Career

From 1996 until his judicial election in 2014, Atkins worked as an attorney in private practice. He most recently served as partner at the law firm of Flippin, Atkins, and Crider in Humboldt, Tennessee.[3]
