Lee's Summit City Bond Issue Questions, 2 (April 2013)

Two Lee's Summit City Bond Issue questions were approved on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Cass and Jackson Counties, which are in Missouri.
The first question authorized the City of Lee to increase its debt by $2.898 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the construction, rehabilitation and improvement of cultural arts in the city.
The second question authorized the City of Lee to increase its debt by $4.6 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the construction and improvement of roads, sidewalks and storm drainage systems in the city.
Both of these questions require a 4/7ths (57.1$) majority approval rate to pass.[1]
