Leo Oxberger
Leo Oxberger is a senior judge of the Fifth District of Iowa. He was first appointed to this court in March 1969. He retired as a judge on March 1, 1994 after a stint on the Iowa Court of Appeals, and assumed senior status. He continued in this role until July 2010.[1][2][3]
Biography
Oxberger was born in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to attending college, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He then received his bachelor's and law degrees from Drake University in 1954 and 1957, respectively. He later earned his L.L.M. degree from the University of Virginia in 1987.[1]
