Lester Adler
Lester Adler is a justice for the Westchester County Supreme Court in the 9th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to a term that began in 2005 and ends in 2018.[1][2]
Education
Adler received his B.A. degree from The George Washington University in 1969 and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1973.[1]
Career
Adler began his career in 1973 as an Assistant District Attorney in the Homicide Bureau. He then joined the law firm of Adler, Cohen & Timko in 1978 as a criminal defense litigator. He worked there until 2001 and was a Greenburgh Councilman and Deputy Supervisor from 1983 to 2000.
Adler's judicial career began in 2001, when he became a judge of the Westchester County Court. He also became an Acting Supreme Court Justice that year. He was then elected to the Westchester County Supreme Court, taking office in 2005.[1]
