A Lynn Haven City Property Tax Exemption measure was on the April 19, 2011 ballot in the city of Lynn Haven which is in Bay County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,785 (68.08%)Approveda
  • NO 837 (31.92%)[1]

This measure sought to allow the city to exempt new or expanding businesses' property taxes in order to help promote growth and job creation in the city.[2] The city will be able to exempt up to 100 percent of new businesses' property taxes for a period up to ten years. The goal was to provide new jobs for local residents.[3]
