The Maine Highway, Bridge and Airport Improvements Bond Issue, also known as Bond Issue 4, was on the November 5, 1985 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued $20 million in bonds for improvements to highways, bridges and airports. Highway improvements were allocated $10 million, bridge improvements $9 million and airport improvements $1 million.[2][3]
