Marathon County Circuit Court judge to retire

Wausau, Wisconsin: Patrick Brady, Circuit Court judge of Marathon County, Wisconsin plans to retire next year. He will leave this court, where he has judged for 12 years, when his current term expires on July 31, 2010. Regarding his decision, the 64-year-old judge said, "It was a logical time to retire." He has judged on this court since 1999. Previously, he was a municipal court judge in Wausau (1988-1999) and Rothschild (1979-1983).
Brady has already filed paperwork with the Government Accountability Board. If enough candidates apply for his position, a primary election will be held on February 15th of this year, followed by a general election on April 5th.[1]
