Mark King Leban
Mark King Leban was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Appellate Division, in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Jeb Bush on June 10, 2005 and his term expired on January 7, 2013.[1][2]
Leban also served on the Miami-Dade County Court, Domestic Violence Division.[3]
Biography and Education
Leban was born in Miami, FL on April 3, 1947. He received his B.A. degree from Boston University in 1969 and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1972.[4][5]
Career
Leban began his career in 1972 as an Assistant Public Defender. In 1976, he entered the private practice of law. He then became a judge of the Miami-Dade County Court in 1995, where he served until his appointment to the circuit court in 2005.[4]
