Efforts in Marquette Township, Michigan, to recall Supervisor Gary Johnson, Treasurer Kristina Koski and Clerk Marilyn Brancheau from their positions were launched in May 2015.[1] The recall petition was rejected by county elections officials in June 2015.[2]
Recall supporters
Johnson was targeted for recall over allegedly failing to maintain the town's sewer system in violation of Republic Township Ordinance No. 20 (2013-16 revised). Koski and Brancheau were accused of "charging extra pay vouchers for meetings that were held during regular business hours."[1]
