Matt Steele is an at-large representative on the Mason City School District school board in Ohio. Steele was initially appointed to the position in 2011. Steele won a new term in the at-large general election on November 7, 2017.

Steele earned his B.A. in political science from Xavier University. He later earned a J.D. from Ohio State University. Steele has worked as an attorney with Miller, Canfield, Paddock & Stone. He has been involved with community groups including the Cincinnati Camerata and the Ohio ENERGY Project. Steele and his wife, Carrie, have one child.[1]

Three of five seats on the Mason City School District Board of Education in Ohio were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. Two incumbents—Matt Steele and Connie Yingling—filed for and won re-election. Charles Galvin won election to the third seat, while Noha Eyada was defeated.[2]
