Matthew G. Hanson (Indiana)
Matthew G. Hanson is a judge for the circuit court of Morgan County in Indiana. He was appointed in 2001, and his current term expires in 2024.[1]
Education
Hanson received his bachelor's from Wabash College, an all male college in Indiana, in 1991. He received his J.D.from the University of Toledo Law School in 1994.[1]
Career
After completing law school, Hanson opened his own private practice in Indianapolis. At the same time, he also worked as a lobbyist in the Indiana Statehouse. After this, Hanson served as Deputy Prosecutor in Martinsville for several years.[1] In 2004, Hanson joined the JAG Corps, and subsequently served in Baghdad, Iraq from 2007 to 2009.[1]
2012 election
Hanson ran unopposed for re-election to the court in 2012.[2] He was successful in his bid, receiving 100% of the vote.[3]
