The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is holding a general election for mayor on November 4, 2025. A primary was scheduled for May 20, 2025. The filing deadline for primary candidates was March 11, 2025, and the withdrawal deadline for primary candidates was March 26, 2025. The filing deadline for general election candidates was August 1, 2025. The withdrawal deadline for independent candidates in the general election was August 8, 2025, and the withdrawal deadline for partisan candidates in the general election was August 11, 2025.
As of 2025, Pittsburgh does not have term limits for the position of mayor. Mayors serve a four-year term.
