Megan Winburn is a Republican activist and former teacher in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Oklahoma. She is committed to Ted Cruz.[1] Winburn served on the Rules Committee of the convention in July 2016.

Career

Megan Winburn is a former teacher at Metro Christian Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[2] She then began working as a Republican activist who spoke on "current education reforms and areas of common core" to audiences, including th e Republican Women of Ottawa County in 2013.[3]

Winburn previously served as an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2012. In an article for The Oklahoman, Winburn suggested that Gov. Mary Fallin (R) address the convention that year by calling Oklahoma "the reddest state in the nation."[4]
