Four of the seven seats on the Aldine Independent School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 3, 2015. All four seats were elected at-large. The seats of Position 1 incumbent Patricia Ann Bourgeois, Position 2 incumbent Paul Shanklin, Position 6 incumbent Merlin Griggs Sr., and Position 7 incumbent Viola Garcia were up for election.[3]

Only two of these races had challengers. In the Position 1 race, Bourgeois faced challenger Tony Diaz and won the Position 1 seat. In the Position 2 race, Shanklin competed against Carleen Kerr, also known as Carleen "Jinx" Kerr. Shanklin was successful in winning the Position 2 seat. Shanklin was appointed to the position in December 2014 to fill the unexpired term of Dr. Alton Smith.[4]

Because both Garcia and Griggs ran unopposed, the elections for their seats were cancelled and they were automatically re-elected.[4]
