Michael J. Brennan was a justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 2nd Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 2001.[1][2]

Education

Brennan received his undergraduate degree from St. Peter's College in 1964. He then received his J.D. degree from St. John's University in 1973 and his LL.M. degree from the New York University Graduate School of Law in 1978. He also attended the National Judicial College at the University of Reno in 1988.[1]

Career

Brennan began his career in 1973 as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society. He was then appointed to the Criminal Court of Richmond County in 1984. In 1996, he was elected to the Richmond County Civil Court and, in 2001, he was elected to the Kings County Supreme Court.[1]
