Michael Moynahan
Michael Moynahan was a 2014 candidate for District 7 of the Lexington, Kentucky City Council.[1]
Biography
Moynahan obtained a B.A. from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Kentucky. His professional experience includes working as the Energy Program Director for a nonprofit in Lexington and serving in the U.S. Army and in the Kentucky Army National Guard.[2]
Elections
2014
The city of Lexington, Kentucky held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. Incumbent Jennifer Scutchfield, Michael Moynahan and Ismael Shalash were initially scheduled to meet in the District 7 primary, but Shalash was removed from the ballot.[3][4] Scutchfield and Moynahan both advanced to the general election. Scutchfield defeated Moynahan.[5]
