Micheal A. Ireland
Micheal A. Ireland was a judge for the Second Judicial District Court in Kansas. He joined the court in 2006 and was retained on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3] Ireland passed away on August 29, 2015, after suffering a heart attack.[4]
Education
Ireland earned his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.[5]
Career
Ireland was appointed to the Second Judicial District in 2006. Before his appointment he engaged in private practice and also served as Jackson County Attorney.[5]
2012 election

Ireland stood for retention on November 6, 2012. He was successful in his bid to retain his seat, earning 69.4 percent of the vote with 15,187 "yes" votes.[1][2][3]
