Campaign themes

2014

Little's campaign website listed the following themes for the 2014 race:

Mike Little’s vision is simple:

I see Nevada as becoming a leader State, not a follower State. Nevada is currently 50th in education: that means whatever we’re doing, it isn’t working. Nevada is primarily dependent upon two industries: Gaming and Mining. That simply is not enough. Nevada is referred to as just another California Tax-and-Spend County; and that is completely unacceptable. Nevadan’s have always been a breed apart. We are independent people, and as such we must take a much more aggressive leadership role in this State by utilizing tools such as the U.S. 10th amendment to prevent federal government from dictating policy in Nevada. Nevadans know what is best for Nevadans.

Mike Little on Economics

Mike Little believes in the following platform for economic policy in Nevada:

  • Develop and expand agriculture by modernizing farming, and applying the “fair footing” doctrine
  • Attract High Technology such as drone development
  • Pursue Practical Alternative Energy Development and related manufacturing
  • Remove all impediments to natural economic growth, namely the Administrative Sorcery of the Fourth Branch of Government

Mike Little on Education

Mike Little believes in the following platform for educational policy in Nevada:

  • Advance Educational Liberties by promoting talent and not penalizing it
  • Promote a Nevada Standard of Excellence marked by State success, and not Federal marginalization
  • Real Leading-edge School Development and Autonomous Curriculum Choice; which could easily include the rights and liberties of every student to say the Pledge of Allegiance and to practice prayer, if they so desire – this should be every Nevadan parent’s, and every American parent’s, choice.

Protecting Freedom: the Rights and Liberties of Every Nevada Citizen

Mike Little believes in the following platform for protecting the rights and liberties of every Nevada citizen:

  • Stop civil criminalization by code; eliminate Administrative Sorcery by the Fourth Branch of Government
  • Stop condemnation of property by code; eliminate Administrative Sorcery by the Fourth Branch of Government
  • Remove Rights and Liberties impediments by utilizing the U.S. 10th amendment[11]
