Miriam Cyrulnik
Miriam Cyrulnik is a judge for the New York City Criminal Court of Kings County, New York. She was appointed to this position in December of 2003 after serving from June of 2003 as an interim judge.[1][2] She has served as an acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court (Brooklyn) since June 7, 2010.[3]
Education
Cyrulnik received her B.A. degree from Brooklyn College in 1977 and her J.D. degree from the Brooklyn Law School in 1980.[1]
Career
Cyrulnik began his career in 1981 as an associate for the Office of Ross M. Branca, Esq. The following year, she became a law clerk for Hon. Michael L. Pesce. She worked in that capacity until she was appointed to the civil court in 2003. She also worked as an arbitrator for the Kings County Small Claims Court from 1991 to 1994 and as a special referee in matrimonial actions from 1997 to 2003.
Cyrulnik began her judicial career as an interim judge of the civil court in 2003. At the end of the year, she was appointed to a full term on the criminal court. She has also served since 2010 as an acting justice of the Kings County Supreme Court.[1]
