Nancy Nerny was an at-large representative on the Dayton Public Schools Board of Education. She was first elected in 2007. Nerny sought another term in the general election on November 3, 2015.[1] Nancy Nerny lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Three of the seven seats on the Dayton Public Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. All members represent the district at-large.

John McManus defeated incumbent Nancy Nerny for a seat on the board. Incumbents Robert Walker and Sheila Taylor won re-election to their seats.[2][3][4]

Candidates Jerome Brunswick, Ann Marie Gallin and John Lumpkin Jr. filed to run in the election, but they withdrew from the race before the withdrawal deadline.[5]
