Nathaniel Peters is a judge for the Bethel Superior Court in Bethel, Alaska. He was appointed by Gov. Bill Walker (I) on February 9, 2017.[1]
At the time of his appointment to the superior court, Peters was a district court judge for the Fourth Judicial District in Bethel, Alaska. He was appointed to this position by Gov. Sean Parnell (R) on November 25, 2013.[2]
Biography
Peters earned his undergraduate degree from Truman State University and his J.D. from Ohio Northern University.[2]
Peters' professional experience includes work as a clerk and deputy magistrate for the Palmer Superior Court and as an assistant public defender for Palmer. He has also worked for the Alaska Public Defender Agency and practiced civil law in Ireland.[2][3]
