The New Mexico Proposed Amendment, Director, State Highway Department, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 9, was on the 1964 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposed measure would have allowed for a constitutional amendment that addressed the state highway department and its director.[1]
