The New Mexico Proposed Amendment 1, District Judge Pro Tempore, also known as Constitutional Amendment No.1, was on the 1938 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The proposition allowed for a constitutional amendment addressing district judge pro tempores.[1]
