The New Mexico Proposed Amendment 1, Four-year Terms for County Officers, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 1, was on the 1924 ballot in New Mexico as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposition would have allowed for a constitutional amendment that established four-year terms for county officers.[1]
