The New York Proposed Amendment Two was on the ballot in New York on November 4, 1969, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The referendum added new language to the state constitution that increased the maximum principal amount of bonds for which the state could be liable.[1]

Proposed Amendment Two: State Constitution, amending sec. 7, Art. X and renumbering as section 8 (increasing to $150,000,000 the maximum principal amount of bonds for which the state maybe made liable issued by a public corporation created to make loans to non-profit corporations).[2] |
