The New York Repeal of Article XIX of the Constitution, Amendment 2, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New York on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This amendment would have replaced Article XIX of the Constitution with a new Article XIX.[1]
