The New York State Indebtedness, Amendment 1, also known as Proposed Amendment No. 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1920, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure amended sections 2, 4, 5, 11 and 12 of Article 7 of the state constitution. It was related to state indebtedness.[1]
