Norman W. Seiter, Jr. is a justice for the Oswego County Supreme Court in the 5th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to a term that began in 2004 and expired in 2017. He has also served as the Supervising Judge of the Justice Courts in the 5th Judicial District since 2007.[1][2]

Education

Seiter received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Syracuse University in 1969 and 1973, respectively.[1]

Career

Seiter began his career in 1974 as an associate of the law firm of Mowry & Mowry. He was promoted to partner of this firm in 1976 and served in that capacity through 1982. He then worked as a partner of Seiter and Genant until 1992. In 1993, he started his own firm, the Seiter Law Firm, where he practiced through 2003.

Seiter's judicial career began in 2004 when he joined the Supreme Court. Since 2007, he has also served as a Supervising Judge of the 5th Judicial District Justice Courts.[1]
