The North Dakota Dog and Horse Race Gambling Initiative, also known as Initiative 4, was on the June 30, 1964 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have authorized betting on horse and dog races. It also would have taxed the wagers and stipulated how the revenue from that tax could be used.[2]
