The North Dakota Jurisdiction U. S. and Indian Lands, also known as Referendum 1, was on the June 24, 1958 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure authorized the legislature to accept such jurisdiction over Native American lands as may be delegated to the state by acts of U.S. Congress.[2]
