North Dakota Resources Trust Fund, Measure 2 (1990)
The North Dakota Resources Trust Fund Referendum, also known as Measure 2, was on the June 12, 1990 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure authorized the legislative assembly to dedicate a percentage of oil tax revenues to a special resources trust fund, to be expended for water projects and energy conservation programs. This measure became effective July 1, 1991. It created a new section in Article X of the North Dakota Constitution.[2]
