Patricia M. Scanlon

Patricia M. Scanlon is a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County in California. She was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in September of 2005 to succeed Garrett J. Grant. Scanlon officially took the bench on October 3, 2005.[1][2][3] She filed for re-election in 2014, but due to facing no opposition, was automatically elected to a new term that expires in 2021.[4]

Scanlon received a bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law.[2]
